Cam and lever actuated pumps; stroke, varying. - The plunger 6 is actuated by a cam 3 and lever 4, and the return stroke is controlled by a wedge surface 9 on a sleeve controlled by the governor 8. At a certain speed the surface 9 engages the roller 5 on the lever 4 and moves it away from the cam 3. Specification 123,312 is referred to.
