Abstract
218,204. Ingram, H. Dec. 31, 1923. D i s c closures; closures completed by outstanding packing-rings. - In a closure for jars &c. comprising an outer cap and an inner reseal closure, the inner closure comprises a disc 14 seated on a shoulder in the neck of the jar and formed with an upstanding resilient flange 15 adapted to engage the neck, the flange being provided with a withdrawal tab 16. The outer cap 18 is formed with a depending flange having an annular groove in which a packing-ring 20 is located. In a modification, four resilient fingers replace the flange 15.
