Abstract
217,756. Wyatt, W. June 6, 1923. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Catches, spring.-A jewellery snap fastener comprises a socket 2 having longitudinal slots 4 and a cross-pin 5, an apertured disc 6, and a spring U- shaped member 9, the arm 8 of which has a notch 10 which engages with the edge of the disc 6 when the member 9 has been hooked over the pin 5 and pressed into the socket 2, the pin 5 serving to prevent accidental release of the parts. The end 11 of the arm 8 is formed with an outwardly curved portion adapted to enter one of the slots 4, the outer arm 12 also being preferably curved outwardly so as to engage in the other slot 4.
