Abstract

210,335. Fleuret, F. W. May 2, 1923. Hatches.-A hatch cover comprises boards I which are slidden along grooves formed by the angles A and D, the angles A being shorter than the angles D so that the boards may be inserted in the grooves. The closure boards J, K are each provided with a spigot F, Fig. 3, and the web B and coating C are each provided with a slot E. The spigot F of the board J is first inserted in the slot E and the board dropped in position. The spigot of the board K is then inserted through the slot E in the web B and' a slot in the end of the board J. The board K is then dropped into position and secured by the bent hasp G provided with a slot for the eyebolt H which secures the hasp by a cottar or lock L.
