230,332. Rawlinson, J. June 25, 1924. Hasp fastenings; seal fastenings.-The hasp c of a fastening for boxes &c., which is pivoted to a plate d secured to the lid b by a batten e, is secured in a slot f in the box a by a pin o passing through the box lid or body and into a groove k formed by a plate m secured to the box. The head p of the pin lies in a groover q in the batten e and is covered by a seal r. The pin o may, if desired, be passed through a groove s formed by a plate t secured to the inside of the box, whilst, in a further modification, the hasp may be pivoted to the box body so as to engage a slot in the lid.
