Abstract

210,275. Rayson, R. Jan. 22, 1923. Ventilators with air conditioning apparatus.- In apparatus of the kind described in Specification 165,980 for de-freezing foodstuffs, the circulating air is caused to flow up through the hollow stem 3 of a member 1 and through holes 8 in the base of a cone member 5 that is adjustably mounted on the stem, and is then deflected by means of an inverted cone member 4, also adjustable on the stem, so as to pass through a grating 10 in the roof of the refrigerating chamber or hatch-way 11. A tank 6 formed of channeliron or cement is adapted to hold hot or cold water for attemperating or humidifying the air in its passage through the airways 7.
