325,514. Thomson, A. L. Nov. 20, 1928. Addition to 319,881. Cooling-chambers; cold accumulators. - The ice tank of the parent Specification is dispensed with and the moisture in the air in the refrigerator is used to form a coating of ice on the refrigerating pipes 4 and the brine tanks 5, for subsequent humidification of the air, prior to the starting of the fan 10. The fan draws air from the refrigerating chamber through the openings in the bottom of a central longitudinal duct 7 and forces it through a transverse duct 14 into ducts 8 from which it flows transversely over the ice-coated pipes and tanks in the ducts 6 and through damper-controlled openings in the bottoms of these ducts into the chamber.
