Abstract

210,189. Fairclough, W. Nov. 4, 1922. Mud-guards. - A detachable mud-guard for road vehicles comprises transverse channelpieces 2 upon the guard adapted to slide on to brackets 3 on the vehicle and to be bolted by bolts 7 which are passed through the guard and engage with slots 6 in the end of the brackets. The nut 8 fits into a recess in the underside of the slotted part of the bracket 3. A flat spring 12 prevents rattle. Specification 135,446 is referred to.
