Abstract

22,562. Heard, H. H. Nov. 16. Wheel-guards and obstruction-removers. - A wheel-guard b of a motor road vehicle is provided with a lower guard c which is prevented from striking the kerb when the wheels turn from the straight line of the vehicle towards the kerb in steering. Each guard c is pivoted at d to a wheel and is connected by a telescopic rod e<1>, e<2> and chain f with a part of the vehicle which does not move with the steering- mechanism.
