Mud-guards.-A mud-guard adapted to form an obstacle-remover for motor-vehicles is constructed with a framework suspended from the wheel axle or other part by a bar d, the framework carrying a single plate b covering the outer portion of the lower half of the wheel, and fore and rear end cover-plates, the former being forwardly and downwardly extended at g to form an obstacle-remover. A flexible strip f may be attached to the side plate to prevent side splash.
