Slipping of wheels, preventing. - A device for use on motor or other road vehicles as a brake or obstruction - remover, or for cleaning the track to prevent slipping of the wheels, or for levelling the track, comprises an auxiliary wheel B carried by an arm C in front of the road wheel so that it can be brought into contact with the road wheel and be rotated thereby, and also, when desired, in contact with the ground. The arm C may be pivoted to a bar E longitudinally adjustable in a tubular holder D, which, in the case of steering - wheels, is attached to the stub axle Hand steering-arm I; or the arm C may be connected to an extension of the steering-arm. The wheel B is moved into contact with the road wheel and the ground by an obstruction, or by a cable or other connexion to'the driver. The wheel B may be constantly in engagement with the road wheel. A guard G may be provided.
