Abstract

190,524. Waigh, F. Sept. 19, 1921. Mud-guards ; supports.-A mud-guard for the front wheel of a motor-cycle, or the like, shaped as sbown, has a flange l to keep the mud down. The parts j and flap k may be flexible. The guard shown is fastened to the forks by a clip p, screw q and clip r. The guard may be made in one piece, or it may be in two parts, in which case the front part c is joined to the back part g by a lap joint t, the bolts q passing through coinciding holes in both parts. A clip w, mounted loosely on a pin and adapted to be opened and closed by a screw x, holds the front stand v in the inoperative position.
