Abstract

385,731. Mudguards for perambulators &c. WASDELL, T. E. and CHATWIN, G. F., Holdford Road, Witton, Birmingham. Dec. 12, 1931, No. 34475. [Class 136 (i).] In mudguards for the wheels of perambulators, toy motor cars, and other juvenile vehicles, and of the type in which the mudguard stays a<2> are connected to the axle d by means of a centre bracket c, a clamping-strap e, and one or more bolts f, the bracket c is slotted at c<3> to receive, in a detachable manner, the T-shaped head f<2> of the bolt f, which is inserted laterally, and then allowed to drop so that its head f<2> engages the inner wall of the bottom of the bracket c to prevent rotation when the nut f<4> is applied. The bottom of the bracket c may be of bulbous form as shown. The strap e may be pivoted at e<2>, or two detachable bolts f with their corresponding slots c<3> may be provided, one on each side of the axle d.
