118,387. Sarson, A. O. Feb. 14, 1918. Slipping-preventing attachments to wheels. - Tractor and like wheels are fitted with one or more sets of tread-grips L each pivoted to the strap K of an eccentric G which can be adjusted about the wheel-axle C to vary the operation of the grips. As shown, each eccentric carries a plate F through holes H in which a pin J may be passed into the frame D to lock the eccentric in adjusted position. The grips L preferably pass through sockets M pivoted on the rim, stops 0 on the strips K fixing the effective angle at which the grips engage the ground.
