Abstract

Locking by positive deters.-Means for locking the wheels of perambulators and other vehicles comprises a U-shaped bolt 6 mounted in a casing 7 secured to the axle 5 and urged by springs 8 into engagement with holes in a disc 2 mounted on or integral with the hub 1 of the wheel. Controlling means for the. bolt comprises a lever 11 mounted in a position convenient to the person driving or propelling the vehicle and connected by a Bowden wire 9 to the bolt 6. The lever 11 can be engaged with a rack 12.
