Abstract

304,662. Kegresse, A. Jan. 23, 1928, [Convention date]. Sledyes. - Runners or skids which are fitted to vehicle wheels are mounted on axles which are adjacent to and parallel with the wheel axles. The runners 1 are carried by rods 8 which are carried by trunnions 7 secured to brackets 3, 5. These brackets are mounted on the stub 2 and the runners are releasably held in place by springs 10 having notches or recesses 11 adapted to engage with the rods 8. The springs 10 are secured to a member 9 carried by the stub axle 2. Specification 174,920 is referred to.
