Abstract

174,501. Stevens & Co. (1914), Ltd., A. J., and Stevens, G. Nov. 29, 1920. Dust-excluding casings.-A joint for use where a frame member 3, Fig. 1, passes through, without being fastened to a mud-guard 5 or other metal casing of a motor-cycle or other road vehicle, is formed of a rubber packing 1 placed between the frame member and the casing. The packing-ring 1, Fig. 3, is moulded with a groove 2 for engaging over the edge of the aperture in the mudguard &c., and is split to fit around the frame member.
