Mud-guards carried by wheels.-Flexible mudguards A adapted to be splayed outwards by contact with the road are bevelled on the inside of the outer edge as shown at A', so as to assist and ensure this outward splaying. The mudguard may be secured to the tyre by screws a, Fig. 2, passing through a thin metal ring a', or may be clamped between two rings c, c<1>, Fig. 3, one of which is secured to the wheel rim.
