Mud-guards; Zuggage-carriers.-A combined mud-guard and luggage-carrier formed from a single piece of sheet metal subtends an angle of less than 180‹ at the wheel axle, and has an outwardly and rearwardly projecting tail d so as to subtend a base greater than that of the equivalent circular mud-guard. The rear portion is preferably convex towards the axle, and its dimensions are such that it may serve as a regulation number-plate.
