Abstract

570,444. Vehicle mudguards. NORTHERN PATENT DEVELOPMENTS, Ltd., and BARTLETT, B. G. W. Aug. 12, 1943, No. 13073. [Class 136 (i)] A removable liner 2 for the mudguards 1 of cycles, motor cycles and other vehicles is adapted to be removed from one or either end of the mudguard. The liner comprises a strip of metal or celluloid held in place by the turned-in edges 4 of the mudguard or by hook ends on the mudguard supporting brackets, and projects at 5 beyond the ends of the mudguard. The liner may be in two portions secured together by a button or clip. For celluloid mudguards circular stays 8 may be secured to the usual radial mudguard stays 9 and cycle frame 10 to add rigidity to the mudguard.
