Abstract

209,734. Purcell, P. T. Jan. 13, 1923, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Tyre - inflating valves. - A non- return valve is housed in the spindle of a screwactuated stop valve, 9 which co-operates with a seat 8 formed on a shoulder of the casing 5 and is formed with radial and axial passages 13, 12 leading to a chamber 16. The non-return 17 is housed in the chamber 16 and co-operates with a seat 19 screwed into the valve spindle. The valve spindle is formed with a haxagonal part' 23 for manipulation and with a conical sealing surface 25 adapted to engage a corresponding surface on a gland nut 27 when the valve is open.
