Centrifugal machines.-Moulds n are mounted horizontally upon and rotated by driving-rollers m engaging runners m<1> and are supported laterally by guard rollers o aligned horizontally with the mould axis and preferably supported upon oblique frame members p. The rollers o may be carried by bearings o<1> adjustable by screw mechanism s<1>. The rollers m are carried by a shaft b' aligned with a driving-shaft b and adapted to be driven therefrom either directly through clutch members c, c<1>, or indirectly, at a different speed, through a shaft e, clutches d<1>, f<2>, and gearing d<3>, f. A number of machines may be arranged side by side, the shafts b being driven from a common main shaft a through gearing a<2>.
