Abstract
204,705. Gouvion, F. Sept. 27, 1922, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Fixed-chamber apparatus ; controlling passage of air for; with several chambers.-In apparatus of the kind having two alternately-acting measuring-vessels adapted to be filled by a pump and each provided with an overflow pipe, the feed pipe from the pump is raised to the level of the over flow orifice of the vessels, being carried upwards to the required height and then downwards to the liquid controlling-cocks, and is provided at the summit of the bend with a self-acting air-admission valve to destroy the siphon formed by the pipe. Instead of carrying the pipe from the overflow chamber back to the reservoir, the pipe may be connected to the suction side of the pump. Specification 193,390 is referred to.
