Capillary-action lubricating.-The bearings c of the ring of raising rollers of a cloth-raising machine are lubricated by spring-pressed wicks g in radial pipes b leading from an annular reservoir a in the hub of the revolving drum. The wicks are encircled by coiled springs f, the ends of the wicks projecting from the coils to bear against the necks d of the rollers.
