Abstract

467,036. Bearings for conveyer rollers. SPENCE, W. L. Dec. 28, 1935, No. 35893. [Class 12 (i)] [Also in Groups XXIV and XXX] A roller, idler pulley, or the like has an end piece B fixed oil-tight in a drum A, a floating bush D, thrust washers E, L, and a packing ring F. The bush is located endwise by a shoulder on the spindle M and by a spring ring G. The member B has a web with an oil filling duct H and another web with a duct K to return oil collecting in an annular groove N back to the oil reservoir in the drum. The drum can be placed on its end without oil leakage occurring. Specification 433,049 is referred to.
