Abstract

313,377. Sehmisch, 0., and Maschinenfabrik Rheinland Akt.-Ges. Sept. 14, 1928. Securing bearings on shafts.-A bearing race ring 12, Fig. 4, is held in position on a shaft by an outwardly bent lip 16. The supporting surface 13 on the shaft may be conical or cylindrical and may be of larger diameter than the shaft 1. The abutment collar 17 may be replaced by an additional lip 16. In a modification, particularly for the crankshafts of agricultural machines, the lip 9, Fig. 1, retaining the undivided race ring 8 in position is formed on a split conical ring 6.
