Abstract

202,717. Moseley & Sons, Ltd., D., and Randall, A. H. C. May 23, 1922. Knee grips for motor cycles comprise a pneumatic tube or bag of such shape as to provide a central depression or concavity into which the inner side of the knee fits. In the shown form an annular air bag 4 is enclosed in an outer cover of waterproof, twill, or like material provided with flaps 8 which cover the inflating valve. The inner and outer walls of the covering are buttoned together at 12 to provide the depression for the knee. Four separate securing straps may be used, as shown in Fig. 1, or the two straps in vertical alignment may be replaced by a single strap in each case.
