Abstract

238,393. Johnston, M. Sept. 19, 1924. Saddles. - In a pneumatic saddle cover of the type in which an air container consisting of an inflatable elastic tube is enclosed in a cover, the elastic tube has closed ends 1 and is folded to form two flattened coils 2 connected together by a transverse part 3, the adjacent folds being secured to one another by cement &c. In a modified form, the outer folds of each coil are longer than the inner folds, and are brought together at the front to form a peak.
