Abstract

200,921. Coan, R. W. April 21, 1922. Foot-rests for motor-cycles &c. comprise a rubber mat g formed with pin-like projections h on its upper surface and with projections m on the underside for fitting into slots f in a metal base a. Instead of using the projections m and slots f the mat may be retained in position by inturned projections at the upper edge of the flange b, screws being passed through the projections and mat into the base; or the vertical flange b may be detachable and formed as a peripheral frame having an inwardly projecting lip secured by screws to the mat and the base. Holes e are provided for drainage purposes.
