Abstract

199,251. Turner, W. T. June 16, 1922. Magneto electric machines.-A high-tension magneto-electric machine is provided with two armatures 6, 7, adapted to rotate in independent but adjacent magnetic fields. Each armature with its field magnet and mechanism. constitutes a complete ignition magneto, and the armatures are geared together and the spark adjustments are interconnected so that synchronism cf the dual spark is obtained. The contact-breaker covers 13, 14 are provided with intermeshing teeth 15, 16 to give the combined spark adjustment.
