Abstract

Dispensing liquids.-A number of beer or like barrels 1 arranged upon a platform 2 in a cellar or the like have their outflow pipes 6, fitted with taps 7. connected by tubes 5 to a draw-off pipe 3 supported along the platform. The pipe 3 dips at one end of the platform to connect with a container 4, which comprises a closed vessel 8 with or without a cupped base, into which beer flows until it reaches a height determined by a valve 9 actuated by a float 10 to close an aperture 11 in the top of the container. Beer is drawn off by the beer-engine by means of suction pipes or the like. Two or more sets of barrels may be provided, each set communicating with its own container.
