Tapping.-A device for drawing off liquids from vats, barrels, &c. comprises a flexible pipe B, having its lower end secured to a tap D and provided at its upper end with a flat adjustable-float C adapted to maintain the inlet end of the pipe at a constant distance below the surface of the liquid. A strainer A is secured to or mounted on the inlet end of the tube.
