Abstract

203,739. Crowther, N. May 11, 1922. Spouts.-A spout for a petrol tin comprises in combination with an adapter 5, tube 2, and nozzle 7 forming the spout proper a venting tube 9 of flexible metal terminating at one end in a float 10 which serves to keep the free end of the vent tube above the level of the liquid, and at the other in an opening 12 covered by a guard 13. A strainer 14 is provided with the nozzle. The part of the tube 2 nearest the connection 5 may be rigid instead of flexible.
