Abstract

Dispensing liquids.-In a pair of interconnected valves controlling the supply of two liquids to the common discharge nozzle of a soda fountain or the like, the delivery pipe for one liquid is disposed within the delivery pipe for the other liquid. A plug cock 1 controlling the supply of soda water is provided with a spindle 2 having an arm 21 formed with a cam surface 22. A disc valve 13 controls the supply of syrup and its spindle 19 is automatically depressed by rotation of the cam member 22 and spindle 2. The two valves are mounted in supply conduits 6, 8, having a common outlet nozzle 5, and the delivery pipe 11 of the disc valve extends through the greater part of the nozzle 5. Tha first move. ment of the handle 3 opens the valve 13 gradual. ly, and when fully open the valva 1 commences to open. A movement of the handle in the opposite direction opens the valve 1 only.
