Channels and reservoirs in revolving-cylinder engines.-To lubricate the parts of a revolving- cylinder engine, oil is forced through a duct in the stationary crank-shaft, and drops through depending tubes 17<a>, 19<a> into the open ends of the pistons 20 when moving out of the cylinders 2. The oil is directed by a conical surface to openings 21 leading to the cylinder walls. The various bearings are lubricated by means of radial passages from the central duct 16.
