Channels in engine crank casings.-To lubricate internal-combustion engines for motorcycles &c., oil is pumped to an annular chamber a formed in the upper part of the crank-case casting and passes through openings f to the cylinder walls and through ducts or pipes h to the crank-shaft bearings. One or more radial holes l in the crank-shaft communicate with ducts m, n, through which the oil passes to the bearings of the big end of'the connecting-rod.
