Abstract

Channels in crank-shafts and rotary engines.- Crank pins are lubricated by oil supplied preferably to both ends of a hollow crank shaft having passages arranged as shown in Fig. 15. The ends of the hollow pins are closed by plates 36<fx>. Other arrangements of passages are described in the Specification. Lubricant is supplied to the rubbing surfaces between a stator and a rotating casing carrying the cylinders of an internal-combustion engine through pipes which register at intervals with a passage in a stationary spring- pressed plunger as shown in Fig. 13.
