Abstract

3571. Daimler Motoren Ges. Feb 12, 1912, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-The invention consists in collecting and utilizing waste fuel in carburettors in which at low speeds restricted communication exists between the jet and mixing chambers. The nozzle g is surrounded by a collecting-chamber h, which is connected by a small pipe i to the mixing-chamber c, the outlet end of the pipe i coming opposite a notch o formed in the throttle and affording communication between the chambers b, c when the throttle is closed. When the throttle is fully open, extra air is admitted through the ports m, n.
