2554. Clark, G. Jan. 31. Radial-flow (bladed) type. - A series of turbines of the kind described in Specification 10,027/10 are combined to form the stages in a compound turbine. Steam is admitted at F and is distributed round the stator by the chamber P. The rotor may have bladings on one side only, as at B, receiving steam from the radial guide-passages C, or may have bladings on both sides, as at L, and in that case the forward bladings are acted upon by the steam as it passes outwards to the forward radial guidepassages.
