Jet-wheels; reversing.-A turbine comprises two rotors e, f mounted side by side on a shaft a, the rotor e having axial grooves, ridges, &c. g and the rotor f having axial grooves, ridges, &c. h, and nozzles being arranged in the casing so that working-fluid supplied by them impinges on the grooves &c. of one rotor and is deflected thereby on to the grooves &c. of the other rotor. In order to make the turbine reversible, grooves &c. may be provided on the other face of the rotor f and a third rotor m mounted on the shaft a.
