Abstract

191,291. Marks, E. C. R., (Markham Air Rifle Co.). Jan. 25, 1922. Pneumatic.-The barrel proper 19 of a dropdown air gun has a limited sliding movement within a casing 2 which is hinged to the breechbody 3, the barrel being pressed rearwards by a spring 24 to make an airtight joint with the face of the breech-body. The cocking-link 13 is U- shaped, having two parallel arms adapted to spring over the projecting ends of the hinge-pin 10 to hold the barrel casing raised in the firing position.
