Abstract

[Addition to 845/12.] Sights.-Consists in providing the sight described in the parent Specification, in which the sight plate has three apertures 1, 2, 3, one above the other, with a sliding shutter 35, which only exposes one of the apertures at a time. In the form shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the shutter has a central opening 39, which can be brought into register with the central sighting- aperture 2, and notches 38, 40 at the ends which can be made to coincide with the top or bottom aperture. A spring detent may be provided to hold the shutter in the desired position, or the shutter may be operated by a rack and pinion.
