Abstract

184,119. Frommer, R. von. Dec. 22, 1921. Magazines. - A magazine having a spring- pressed cartridge lifter is provided with an adjustable catch adapted, in one position, to limit the movement of the lifter so that some of the cartridges are retained in the magazine. In the construction shown, the spring catch g is adapted to engage a projection e on the lifter b. The catch can be rendered inoperative by turning it by means of its head h so that its catch nose is no longer in the path of the projection e on the lifter. Two or more catches may be provided.
