626,110. Magazines. PELO, C. May 30, 1947, No. 14411. Convention date, Feb. 22, 1946. [Class 119] Relates to firearms of the kind which a magazine 1, constituting a permanent part of a firearm, has a wall 3 which is hinged at 2 and which, when swung to the open position, depresses the spring-actuated follower 11 thus enabling a fresh case of cartridges to be placed in the magazine. According to the invention the'follower is pivoted to an arm 5 which is guided in its movements by a straight member 4 around which the follower spring 6 is arranged. When the wall 3 is swung downwards a stud 8 on an arm 7 depresses the follower, the stud being ultimately held in the laterally extending lower end of a slot 9.
