Machine guns.-Relates to the screw-threaded pins by which the handle-blocks of automatic guns are secured in position, and consists in the provision of spring locking-devices for preventing the accidental unscrewing of the pins. The pin C, shown in Figs. 2 and 3, has a locking-member D, which is pivoted at d in the collar C<2> of the pin, and is acted upon by a helical spring D', so that, in the securing position, the lug D' on the member D is forced into a notch A' in the handle-block A, or in the gun-casing.
