Abstract
21,105. Mauser, P. Feb. 24, [Convention date]. Breech actions, sliding breech-block.-Relates to automatic guns having lateral locking-levers operated by an inertia slide, and consists in applying this mechanism to pistols by mounting the locking-levers and the operating-slide in the forward part of the breech-frame below the barrel, and in providing the slide with means for hand operation. The locking-levers b, Figs. 1 and 2, engage a downward projection v<1> of the breech-block and are moved outwards, to lock the breech, by the forward movement of the inertia slide s. The slide s is handoperated by a lever k pivoted in the front of the trigger guard and engaging the slide by a tooth k<1>.
