Plug conplings.- A socket terminal on an electric cable adapted to fit on a plug terminal comprises a block a of insulating-material, in which are two borings at an angle to each other, the one being adapted to receive the end of the cable b, and the other to receive a metallic socket c, through the base of which screws a conicalpointed screw d. The point of the screw pierces the insulation of the cable and makes contact with the core thereof, at the same time distending the insulation and thereby rendering the terminal watertight.
