1501002 Branch line connector BURNDY CORP 28 Jan 1975 [28 Jan 1974] 3661/75 Heading H2E A branch terminal for connecting a branch line (not shown) to a cable 8 comprises a twopart casing 1, 2, hinged about an axis 3, the parts being brought together by turning the screw-heads 13. The casing contains toothed contacts 4 which each have a hole 14 for receiving the branch line which is secured by a screw 21, and also contains insulating plates 18, sleeves 20 surrounding said screws 21 and tongues 19 separating pairs of conductors 5.
