Abstract
1759. Johnson, J. Y., [Badische Anilin & Soda Fabrik]. Jan. 22. Hydrogen is completely purified from admixed carbon monoxide by treating it hot and under pressure with a solution of caustic alkali. The solution may be renewed periodically or continuously. Reference is made to the use of caustic lime and cuprous chloride for the same purpose.
