Abstract

18,130. Docking, A. July 30. Actuating.-In an apparatus for supplying a mixture of air and gas, comprising inlet valves for the air and the gas and a by-pass valve, all the valves being controlled by the pressure in the service pipe, the valves are mechanically connected. The air and gas are drawn by a compressor A through slotted cylindrical valves C', E<1> and delivered to a chamber G, to which are connected the service pipe J and a by-pass L controlled by a piston-valve K. The spindle K<1> of the valve K is attached to a diaphragm M in a chamber N connected to the chamber G by a pipe O. The valves C<1> and E<1> are also connected to the spindle K<1> by the links &c. shown, so that the valves C', E', and K are controlled simultaneously from the diaphragm M.
